“Rocky Carson makes the finals in 3 out of 3…in KS & Las Vegas, NV”

“Paola Longoria wins Singles & Doubles…in Las Vegas, NV”

“Jordan Cooperrider wins the Triple Crown at the WRT in FL”

“Wayne Antone & Mitchell Turner training hard for Junior World’s”

My “Adult Championship Racquetball Team” led by Rocky Carson and Paola Longoria, both started their season winning, on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) & the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT).

Rocky Carson continued where he left off last season and made the finals 3 out of 3. In the first indoor tournament of the season, Rocky made the finals in KS by beating Jansen Allen in the quarterfinals and Felipe Camacho in the semifinals before losing to Kane Waselenchuk in the finals in 4 games.

The following weekend Rocky headed to the last outdoors tournament of the season. He is the most decorated outdoor player ever with 15+ career titles and added to his winning ways by making it to the finals of both the men’s pro singles and doubles in Las Vegas, NV. Rocky won the 3Wallball men’s pro doubles division and took home second in the men’s pro singles competition.

Paola Longoria is the world’s best indoor racquetball player, and Paola proved she is just as dominant on the outdoor court in winning her first 3Wallball World Championship pro singles and doubles titles under the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip. Paola entered the event seeded last in the singles draw due to her ‘rookie’ status on the outdoor tour, but that didn’t matter as she knocked off the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds before defeating the defending champion in the tournament final of the women’s pro singles division. Paola teamed up with experienced Michelle Key to make it 2 for 2 and also won the women’s pro doubles division in similar dominating fashion.

*Rocky and Paola now are both turning their attention back to indoors in preparation for the UnitedHealthcare US Open Racquetball Championships in Minneapolis. Taking place during the 2nd weekend in October, the US Open is racquetball’s largest and most prestigious tournament of the year. Rocky is a former US Open Champion while paola has won the event five-time, including the last four in a row.

My “Junior Championship Racquetball Team” led by Jordan Cooperrider, Wayne Antone and Mitchell Turner also started their season working hard in preparation for the Junior World Championships in the Dominican Republic in early November.

Jordan Cooperrider continues to dominate the Women’s Open divisions in Florida. At the WRT Sarasota, FL event she took 1st place in 3 of the 3 divisions she entered…Women’s Open singles, doubles and mixed open doubles. I call it the “Triple Crown”.
