CAREER:

In her early-30s, Paola is already considered to be one of the greatest female racquetball players of all-time. For a period of three and half years starting in 2011, Longoria went undefeated on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT). Her streak reached 37 consecutive tournament victories and more than 150 match wins in a row. Paola has won nine US OPEN Championships, a record for the sport’s most prestigious professional event. Playing for her home country of Mexico on the international stage, Paola has won three consecutive Gold Medals at the World Championships and 20 medals overall. As a junior player, Paola won eight World Junior Championships in a row. In 2010 and 2014 Longoria was awarded Mexico’s National Sports Female Athlete of the Year award and in 2013 was named by Forbes Magazine to the list of Top Most Influential Women in Mexico. In 2017 Paola was name Female Athlete of the Year by Univision Deportes. Paola has finished as the #1 pro player for 10 seasons, with her most recent season from 2018-2019 finishing undefeated. Paola’s previous undefeated seasons were 2017-2018, 2015-2016, 2013-2014 & 2012-2013. Her overall match record stands at 435 wins and just 30 losses, a winning percentage of more than 93%!
