HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria Starts 2019 with a Sweet Victory

Greenville, South Carolina – January 27th, 2019

The Palmetto State is known for its beautiful beaches, rich history and Paola Longoria winning racquetball tournaments. Paola – the No. 1 ranked racquetball player in the world – won her third career Sweet Carolina Open to kick off the 2019 Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) calendar year by beating Gabby Martinez in the quarter-finals in 3 games, Maria in semi-finals in 3 games and then Samantha in the finals in 3 games. In Women’s Professional Singles matches played in South Carolina all- time, Longoria is undefeated (12-0).

The tournament victory in the Women’s Professional Singles Division at the Sweet Carolina Open is Paola’s 95th of her professional career. Longoria also won the Women’s Professional Doubles Division in South Carolina. This doubles victory became Paola’s 38th of her LPRT career.

The LPRT will take the month of February off and its next event is in late March in Bolivia. Longoria is competing this weekend at the Mexico National Selection Event starting February 28th. Watch her live at Mexican Raquetbol on Facebook as it will be AWESOME!

San Luis Potosi, MX – February 19, 2019

Paola Longoria is always on the move even if she is not playing tournaments as she traveled back to her home town of San Luis Potosi to celebrate Army Day as she is part of the Army.

Paola also is very involved in her community and was invited to give a speech at one of the schools sharing her message to the students, “Work hard and be dedicated so you can follow your Dreams”.
