HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria Wins Ninth US OPEN Title & Boston Open

Minneapolis, Minnesota – October 7th, 2018

At the largest and most prestigious tournament of the year, HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria cemented her status as the best female racquetball player in the world! Paola dominated the Women’s Professional Singles draw at the UnitedHeathcare US OPEN Racquetball Championships by dropping just one game on her way to her ninth US OPEN title.

The appearance in the US OPEN singles final for Paola was her 11th consecutive and won eight out of nine in a row.  Longoria has now won 84 Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) events in her career, a tournament winning percentage of more than 70% over the past 16 years. In terms of individual matches won during that span, Paola has won 411 matches and lost just 30 for a staggering match winning percentage of 93%!

Longoria also captured the US OPEN Women’s Professional Doubles title in Minneapolis. Paola has won every US OPEN Doubles title since the professional divisions were added in 2014.

Paola and Coach Fran Davis have been working together on her game for the past nine years. Coach Fran Davis has been by her side for eight out of the nine US Open Championship Titles.

HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria Stays Perfect for 2018-19 LPRT Season

Boston, Mass. – October 28th, 2018

Paola Longoria, the No. 1 ranked female racquetball player in the World, is a perfect ‘Three for Three’ in tournaments thus far in the current Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) season.

Paola’s win in the Women’s Professional Singles Division at the Boston Open comes on the heels of winning the season’s first event in Mexico in August and the UnitedHealthcare US OPEN Racquetball Championships earlier this month in Minneapolis. In all three tournaments, Longoria has also won the Women’s Professional Doubles Division.

The tournament victory in the Women’s Professional Singles Division at the Boston Open is Paola’s 85th of her professional career.

The LPRT next heads to Chicago for the ‘Turkey Shoot’ event November 16- 18.
