Paola Longoria Closes Out 2017 on a Winning Note…On and Off the Court

On The Court:

Paola Longoria, the No. 1 ranked female racquetball player in the World, wrapped up the 2017 calendar year with yet another tournament victory on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT). At the Christmas Classic in Laurel, MD, December 8-10, Paola cruised to her fifth Women’s Professional Singles tournament win of the 2017-2018 LPRT Season. Paola, from San Luis Potosi, Mexico, also captured the Women’s Professional Doubles victory in Maryland.


Paola Longoria beat Frederique Lambert in singles and wins doubles with Alexandra Herrera.

The tournament victory in the Women’s Professional Singles Division at the Christmas Classic is Paola’s 87th of her professional career. During the 2017 calendar year, Longoria won eight LPRT tournaments, played in 36 singles matches and only lost once. 29 of those matches were won in a three game sweep and opponents averaged just five points scored per game overall against Paola.

Paola Longoria is a fan of Snapchat for sure.

The next LPRT stop is January 26-28, 2018 in Greenville, South Carolina for the Sweet Caroline Open.

Paola Longoria named Univision Deportes 2017 Female Athlete of the Year.	Sharing the honor with her family…Mom, Leticia Lopez Rodriguez, Dad, Jose Longoria and her 2 brothers, Edgardo and Christian.

CONGRATULATIONS Paola Longoria for being named Female Athlete of the Year 2017 by Univision Deportes at the Univision Sports Awards Dinner in Miami, FL on December 17. Paola was one of the four finalists and she was up against prominent world class athletes in tennis, running and boxing. Paola continues to bring the spot light to racquetball all over the world.
