On the Court:
HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria Begins 2018 with a Sweet Carolina Victory – January 28th, 2018
A New Year rings in a familiar resolution for Paola Longoria, the No. 1 ranked female racquetball player in the World. For the 10th consecutive time, Paola has started a calendar year with a win on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT). The latest victory in her New Year streak comes from the 2018 Sweet Caroline Open, a Grand Slam event on the LPRT.

The San Luis Potosi, Mexico native dropped just one game en-route to the Women’s Professional Singles tournament title in Greenville. Paola also captured the Women’s Professional Doubles victory in South Carolina. The singles title is Longoria’s sixth of the 2017-2018 LPRT season and her fifth doubles title.

The tournament victory in the Women’s Professional Singles Division at the Sweet Carolina Open is Paola’s 88th of her professional career. In 429 career matches played on the LPRT, Longoria has lost just 29 times.

The next LPRT stop is Paola’s namesake event, the Paola Longoria Invitational in Monterrey, Mexico March 2nd – 4th.

Off the Court:
Paola Longoria stood in front of a huge audience in Puerto Vallarta, MX on January 31st for Persona’s Annual Sales Convention 2018 when she delivered her motivational speech about what it takes to be successful. She talked about goal setting, dedication, being committed and working with a team as she conveyed her message. This is just one of many many companies that hire Paola Longoria to tell her story. Here are a few pictures to depict the magnitude of the event:

On the same day in her hometown of San Luis Potosi, MX Paola Longoria was being presented an honorable award, “Citizen of the Year”. Paola has done a lot of charitable work for the city and continues to give back. Due to our Training Camp in Monterrey, MX Paola was unable to attend so her parents accepted the award on her behalf.
