Rocky Carson wins the World Outdoor Racquetball Championships 

My “Adult Championship Racquetball Team” still working hard this summer brought home 3 Championship Titles between them:

Paola Longoria won the Mexican National

Championships in BOTH Women’s Singles and Doubles and took home 2 Gold Medals.

With several national championships and a world championship already under her belt, Paola added to her impressive 2014 year with the win in the Women’s Singles and Doubles Divisions at the Mexican National Racquetball Championships in Zacatecas, MX July 3-6, 2014. The win adds to Paola’s impressive National titles, making her the most decorated indoor player ever in Mexico.

Last month Paola defeated the best players in the world at the International Racquetball Federation’s (IRF) World Racquetball Championships in Canada. Paola’s gold medals were her 5th Indoor World Championships medals of her career.

 Rocky Carson won the World Outdoor Racquetball (WOR) Championships in Men’s Singles and took home the Gold.

With a pair of national championships and a world championship already under his belt, Rocky added to his impressive 2014 year with the win in the Men’s Singles Division at the World Outdoor Racquetball Championships in Huntington Beach, CA July 10-13. The win is Rocky’s 10th WOR title, making him the most decorated outdoor player ever.

Last month Rocky defeated the best players in the world on the indoor courts at the Internationals Racquetball Federation’s (IRF) World Racquetball Championships in Canada. Rocky’s gold medal was his 9th Indoor World Championships medal of his career. In May, Rocky won USA Racquetball’s National Championship in Men’s Singles at an event in Fullerton, CA. In February, Rocky brought home USA’s Doubles National Champion in Tempe, AZ.

 

My “Junior Championship Racquetball Team” are getting ready to go to the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO July 29-August 2nd to train with the Junior National Racquetball Team. They all earned a one year appointment to the team at the Junior National Racquetball Championships held in Denver, CO June 25-29 . Jordan Cooperrider, Connor Laffey and Wayne Antone are getting ready for the Junior World Championships in Cali, Columbia in October.
